First of all congratulations on your new family member. This is such an exciting time. We hope that you will like what You see on our page today, and decide on choosing us to take your baby's first photographs.

 

 ''Welcome to the world'' photography is here to capture your newborn baby in its first few days of being in the world. This is the most special time to make a memory of how your little boy or girl looks like. They will only be this small for just an instant and will change in a blink of an eye.

 

Newborn sessions take place between the 5th and 12th day of you baby’s life, when they can easily retain some of the natural and cute curled poses, just like when they were inside your tummy. After this they start to be more active and less sleepy.

 

Ideally You will need to make your appointment during pregnancy, as we may not be available on short notice, however please still email to check. Once You book in, your due date will be added to our diary, and when the baby is born, we will finalize your date. Before your session we will discuss any ideas you may have, and work together to establish exactly what you would like us to create for You.

 

It is hard to predict how long Your newborn session will last, every session is unique and it can average between 2-4 hours, depending on the baby. Feeding and hug times are included in this time. Our Approach however is not based on timing, we want to provide You with the best experience, and will spend however long is needed to create your photographs.

 

The shoot takes place in our home studio, based in Little Chalfont, Hertfordshire. However, sometimes we are able to come to your home too.
